# Origin not allowed

Code `origin_not_allowed`, HTTP 403.

A browser sent the event from an origin that is not on the ingest key's allowlist, so nothing was written.

Add the site's origin to the key's allowed origins. A server sending events has no origin and needs a server key instead of a browser key.
